Ohio Representatives Jena Powell and Reggie Stolzfus are trying to pass a law that will excluder transgender students from participating in sports that match their gender identity.
School athletic programs should be open to all students, including transgender athletes. Sports can be good for anyone––to learn good sportsmanship, get and stay healthy, be part of a team, and build a sense of belonging with their peers. Ohio’s laws should protect transgender youth, not encourage discrimination against them.
Please call your Ohio House Representative and ask them to NOT support the so-called “Save Women’s Sports Act”––and that all kids, including transgender kids, should be allowed to play sports.
Tell your Representative to NOT ban transgender kids from sports.
