Jody Davis

Jody Davis, RN, LISW-S is a Christian woman, a veteran, and a mom who happens to be transgender. Jody grew up in Cincinnati, lives in Columbus, Ohio and is actively involved in supporting local gender queer folks. Jody has an I.T. Background, became a nurse in 2007, and got her Masters in Social Work from OSU in 2013. Jody is a Nurse Program Manager at the OSU Wexner Medical Center and a part time therapist at Clintonville Counseling and Wellness. Jody is remarried in a blended family with three kids, three dogs and a mortgage. Since coming out as a transgender female in 2014, Jody has become increasingly involved in the LGBTQIA community, testifying for the ban on conversion therapy for minors, leading various workshops on Trans competent care, speaking out against discrimination and for equality both nationally and around the great state of Ohio. Jody joined the board of Equality Ohio in the Spring of 2019, and is interested in promoting equal rights legislation and community organizing.
