Equality Ohio Legal Clinic Wins the 2024 CLIO Diversity & Inclusion Award

COLUMBUS, OH – Equality Ohio Legal Clinic is proud to announce that it has won the prestigious 2024 CLIO Diversity & Inclusion Reisman Award. This recognition celebrates our tireless efforts to enhance diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, especially during a time of unprecedented legislative challenges faced by Ohio’s LGBTQ+ community.

Sol Kersey (they/them), Intake Coordinator at Equality Ohio Legal Clinic and key member of the legal clinic team, reflected on the honor: “Securing this award at CLIOCon in Texas earlier this week was an incredible moment for us. It acknowledges the hard work we’ve done to uplift LGBTQ+ voices in the legal system, and reminds us how vital this work is, especially in the current climate. We are deeply proud to have been recognized on this platform and will continue pushing forward for justice.”
