Columbus — On Wednesday, Equality Ohio joined over 79 organizations in signing a unified statement reaffirming a collective commitment to advancing LGBTQIA2S+ rights and freedoms. With this statement, Equality Ohio reinforces its dedication to fostering a state and nation where LGBTQIA2S+ individuals can thrive, no matter the outcome of the 2024 election.
“This statement serves as a reminder that our commitment to LGBTQIA2S+ equality transcends political cycles and election seasons,” said Dwayne Steward, Executive Director of Equality Ohio. “Together, we’re working toward lasting change that ensures freedom, safety, and dignity for all LGBTQIA2S+ Ohioans and beyond.”
